Recalculate the order before entering cash and change
Update restaurant, order, service, and cashier text, replace the customer and item data, then independently verify item sum, subtotal, tax, total, cash, and change before editing the footer.
The starting item sum, subtotal, cash, and change do not reconcile, and the visible payment mode is cash even though inactive card values remain stored. Recalculate every amount, use fictional or authorized customer and staff data, and do not present the output as merchant-issued proof, card approval, or brand affiliation.

About the Whataburger Receipt Template

The active payment mode is cash, exposing only Cash and Change before the closing message. The starting item amounts total 6.47 rather than the displayed 5.47 subtotal, and 6.00 cash minus the 5.71 total would produce 0.29 rather than the displayed 0.53 change.
